The best path forward is to empower developers to write HTML and CSS in the editor of their choosing. Any abstraction that hampers that (whether it’s a web site builder or ✨Tailwind✨) has (in my experience) inhibited productivity and increased long-term maintenance costs.

The most disappointing thing about Figma sites is that they fell into the same trap as almost every other website builder.

They assumed (arrogantly) that HTML and CSS are over engineered and that they can make it much simpler.

They are not alone. So many tools before them has done the same.

“A is broken!” says major retailer of A.

apropos of nothing we are also happy to announce that we’ve renamed A to B which is very fortunately (and coincidentally) *NOT* broken!

there has never been a better time for you — the consumer — to be alive. A is B now and all of the problems with A no longer exist

Come for the keyboard support — stay for the SHIFT + ARROW KEY SPEED MODE 🏆

I wrote some web components for the first time 🎉

@window-splitter/web-component is now out. You don't even have to use a framework anymore to use the window-splitter 😄

Just got angular to do after this (of which I haven't wrote in 12 years)
