   @zachleat When you look at modern software, what those “yes or maybe later” choices imply is that they do not care about your consent, which in turn implies they do not respect their users' autonomy.

   Don’t get me wrong, this comes to no surprise, but it is technically abusive behavior and they (e.g., Microsoft) get away with it.

         @cthos @zachleat I skimmed through the article (because my brain doesn’t want to read today) and every bit I saw was spot on.

         I might rant about this as well on my blog, but I could easily save the trouble, link to yours and go “what he said.”
