                        @zachleat @tomw I've used it, but only on my work machine (which is a Mac) and only because it was a cute skin that differentiated it from all yhe other worky browser windows I have open.

                        I miss skinnable applications. Bring back Winamp!

            I’m considering giving Vivaldi a try before returning to Firefox. The UI change of pace was stimulating.

               I'm curious why none of the alt browsers use gecko under the hood? But I imagine the answer is depressingly "websites are built for chrome" 😞

         @zachleat I dunno you shouldn't have to build a new rendering engine to explore new ways of thinking about the UX of browsing the web. I want more folks trying to innovate exactly in the space that Arc was playing in, between the rendering engine and the user.

         (but also yes when your ideas about browsing the web are bad and harmful we could, we should, we're gonna, get yer ass)

   @zachleat everything, like everything is an AI product in 2024. After 2-3 years, everything will "Spatial computing powered" products.

   Somehow only a handful of large companies get profited from this type of goldrush.

   @zachleat I tried to test it, and managed to get an invite, but the compulsory registration and login to use a browser are red flags.
