We pulled off a heist that stole 47 pieces of old halloween candy from my kids.
Here's how we did it 🧵

Just to clear a few things up for people:
1. My kids are not babies, so I didn’t take any candy from a baby! This was not an easy task—in fact I am very cool for doing this because they are old enough to both count and write so they could be keeping inventory logs of the candy.
2. Candy is unhealthy, actually! Their dentist didn’t sanction the heist but I definitely got a vibe that this needed to happen
3. I wanted a snack
@zachleat Sugary Exfiltration Operation
@slab_bulkhead exactly
I am very artificially intelligent
@zachleat we always end up sneakily eating the decent candy, leaving them with a bunch of garbage lollipops and candy corn a week later.
@cbirdsong as it should be
@zachleat Reminded me of this post I saw this morning: https://mastodon.social/@gamingonlinux/111482420414024520

@zachleat Ah it didn't show up on my client
We ate all.our kids Easter eggs and justified it with the fact we buy them Chocolate brownies and all sorts throughout the year
