@zachleat The HTML + CSS devs? The OG frontenders? 🥳
@zachleat I’m contemplating which project I should pick next, the one that is very heavily React based or the one that isn’t as heavily React based, and realizing I’m rather a backend dev than a React dev 😂
Give me back my OG frontending!
@zachleat Also missing our dear friend Soueidan here, to ping at times like these 🥹

@mxbck say more!
@zachleat might be my own skewed perception but I feel like the frontend gets a little more love this year. New HTML elements. A ton of new CSS. More SSR, Less JS-Everything.
Plus I hope the specialized front-of-the-frontend role is becoming more important in teams (we're hiring for one right now)
@zachleat Seems it would behoove me to familiarize myself with this joke.
@zachleat your Thread has quickly degraded and I am here for it
@zachleat my honest response to this, is that I hope I may have entered the web development industry just as front-of-the-front-end dev starts to become a thing (again?).
And if not for everybody, I seem to be enjoying and slowly embodying that role in my current company, and of course I am all for it! I just hope it happens for others too.
