               @zachleat it’s 26 inches in diameter but my British friends didn’t know what inches were and @kng couldn’t convince them one was enough

   @zachleat Truth be told, i'd never used anything but mastodon. But the twitter thing still made me join.

   @zachleat ✌️

   There's just so much more engaging content and conversation here than the cesspool of nonsense that was my Birdsite timeline lol - much prefer this.

   @zachleat seriously! It’s just hurting everyone to try to play both sides at this point.

   @zachleat I'm genuinely enjoying the dev community on FOSStodon. Twitter still has the "big hitters" in software, but it has a lot of noise too.
   People sticking with Mastodon because they love the idea are the same people I most want to hang with.

   1. Zach Leatherman 1 hr later

      @chris_hayes yeah! Same!

9. Josh Appel 12 hr later

   @zachleat I just discovered mastodon. Happy to be here and not have to ever open Twitter.

10. Naiyer 14 hr later

    @zachleat I've been exclusively using Mastodon for a while and I've regained a new level of calm. Still keeping my bird account to send miffed messages to customer care accounts in case I need to.

    @zachleat i deleted my Twitter just days after joining mastodon and haven’t looked back to it. this here is much less stressful and more meaningful. so happy that many people I followed there are here now.

       @benefant amazing!
