   @zachleat Some people have an IFTTT or so set up to cross post their tweets here... Which is terrible since it's not obvious and interacting with them on mastodon often is futile...

      @michaelklein I don’t think I’m annoyed with cross posting per-say but cross posting retweets seems like a party foul to me

               @zachleat @sarcevic I guess it just irks me that some people seem to just duplicate their tweets here but are only really active and engage on the birdsite.

      Stage 1, seeing if Mastodon suited me:
      Crosspost my tweets to here.

      Stage 2, happy here. Leave breadcrumbs:
      Switch to crossposting toots to twitter.

      Stage 3, giving up on twitter:
      Remove crossposting and get comfy here.

      Feeling pretty at ease going quiet over there now, and just participating in what feels like a much more constructive environment here.
