Bluesky

I was curious what the red/yellow cards used in the World Cup would look like with color vision deficiency (Protanopia shown).

Seems like a player could be shown a card and not know the color. Does it matter with sufficient contrast and only 2 cards?

Could be easily solved by adding a symbol.

An official referee holder for red and yellow cards, with the cards peaking out. A comparison is shown simulating Protanopia, where both cards are a muted shade of yellow.

Today the good people of the world commemorate the passing of Google Reader thirteen short years ago on July 1, 2013.

To honor their memory (and in lieu of flowers) please add an RSS/Atom/JSON feed to your web site and keep building a web that connects people in meaningful and positive ways.

Does anyone know more detail about how this was leaked, technically? Looks like the site was using Next.js and some static HTML was embedded in a static JavaScript bundle — another sourceMap leak?

SCOOP: So remember Dialog, Peter Thiel's private society that doesn't have a public website and no public list of members?

I (along with a number of other journalists) have just been tipped off that embedded in the code of their closed off website there IS what seems to be a list of some members.

feeling a certain way after seeing @dr-axel.de cited in a package.json docs search query after they took their website down citing “AI companies stealing my work” — seems like they should be compensated for this by the search engine company, no?

The "bin" field in package.json allows you to define executable files that can be run as commands from the terminal after installing the package. These executables can be scripts or binaries, and they are made available globally when the package is installed with the -g flag. dev.to 2ality.com
