   @zachleat It's a tech issue. As everything. Politicians can register as anybody else. Okay. Mastodon filter works great. Fb not. Just ads. Feed readers but not for free. Need plans. Keep going. People will be grateful for it. Especially new generations. Advertisement free future. Especially in AI. Brave browsers. And the war is over.

   Yes please. I do seem to remember a much quieter time even for pols it was something like 10 years ago. We had the socials but something was different I can’t put my finger on it…oh yeah I remember no orange colored malignant narcissist 😮‍💨

          But Fediverse seems to be the best alternative at the moment.

                Truth social actually tried to claim that they had created the software from scratch. Gargron simply pointed out (in public) that they hadn't.
