How many unique domains do y’all estimate you’ve purchased (all time, for yourself)?

I thought I was 6–20 until I counted: it was 34 😅
@zachleat I've owned the same 3 domains for 15 years or so (wild that it's basically a subscription, lifetime offers should exist). I don't imagine I'll be adding another to the roster any time soon!
@chriskirknielsen do you have a webinar on self restraint I can buy or
@zachleat *immediately purchases youdontneedanewdomain.com which is just a landing page with the words "wait a minute..."*
The webinar is: don't have good ideas. So I'm sorry Zach, you're stuck buying domains.
@chriskirknielsen hah! well given that I have gone through 34 and only 13 are still active — I think we can safely assume most of them were not great ideas 😅
@zachleat You take that back right now! Ideas are allowed to retire! (but we are not)
@zachleat I think you'd find it interesting to learn that last night I dreamt that my website was a .dev and not .com (wow my brain sure knows how to have FUN) and now I'm considering whether I should make that a reality. I probably won't though, two domains for one site seems like a headache…
@chriskirknielsen I wouldn’t recommend it 😅
@chriskirknielsen @zachleat let me know when the site is up and I’ll add it to https://singleservingsites.cool 😜
@huphtur @chriskirknielsen is this your web site? very cool!
@zachleat @chriskirknielsen the webinar needs its own domain, I don't make the rules.
@zachleat register once, keep forever, isn't it? With a typical 10€/domain/year, my inner German Swabian housewives thinks twice wether a side project needs its own TLD ;-).
@svenk look, it’s only 900€ to own it for 90 years
@zachleat You don't have a zero.
