@chrisfinazzo we need you!
@zachleat do you think one day we’ll look back and say “remember when loading a 1.3GB file seemed like so much!?” I cannot imagine that day lol
@jimniels I remember when folks complained that it was time to move on from jQuery because 20 KB was too much 😅
@zachleat I remember downloading a blink 182 mp3 at 3MB and we'd go outside and play a game of basketball then come back and check to see if it was done 😅
@jimniels haha I remember leaving a demo download of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deus_Ex_(video_game) running overnight and my dad asking me if “deusex.zip” was illicit material 😅
@zachleat lol. forget the importance of the oxford comma, the snake case separator is paramount!
@zachleat @jimniels I've been shuffling around a bunch of microSD cards lately. When I ejected a card from a portable emulation handheld one time, it launched it directly at my eyes.
I've also had a few bent pins in CompactFlash readers because the tolerance between the card and the reader was a bit too much.
Also, a failing CF card reader nuked about 20% of my photos at an event once. Sadly, it was from before DSLRs (outside of maybe the Canon 1D and Nikon D3 series) had more than one memory card slot.
@eatyourgreens @dletorey it’s a good size
@zachleat look it's fine it's just One Less Four-Minute-Long 4K Video
@eeeps haha this reference is immaculate
