   @zachleat I find it interesting that, even in low-ceremony western societies, we often avoid saying “no”: “I’m too busy at the moment”, etc.

      @rauschma sometimes the answer isn’t an exact no, but an implicit one (realized or not) 😅

         @zachleat I wish explicit “no” were more common (I’m not good at it either). Sometimes people rather say nothing than say “no”. And then you’re never 100% sure what to think.

      @rauschma @zachleat It’s not ceremony to spare the feelings of the requester. It’s to avoid any accountability around saying no, should there be any.
