         @zachleat @Meyerweb is there a good place that summarises these arguments for someone who is not that familiar with JS frameworks?

         I’ve started experimenting with web components and they just seem great for progressive enhancement. I don’t really understand the current criticism.

            @simonrjones @zachleat @Meyerweb Some people think HTML exists only to give JavaScript something to do. They build frameworks and can’t imagine life without them.

            Progressive enhancement is for everyone else.

         @zachleat @Meyerweb agreed. For me, all the doomsday talk made me more aware of all the amazing things people were exploring in the front. If it weren’t for the framework folks reactions, I’d be blissfully writing react.

   @zachleat looks like I'm following the right people here, because the only thing I saw about framework authors being shitty towards WC is this post 😂 ... I'm not a fan of WC myself, but I would never say something as dumb as "WC are a danger to the future of the web" 😅
