   Correction to this post after playing with uBlock Origin Lite for a bit—it does *not* require per-site opt-in, defaults to a Basic limited permissions filtering mode:

      @zachleat …which is usually more than enough. I rarely turn on the Optimal and never touch the Complete.

         @pepelsbey @zachleat This reflects my experience as well. If anything, I have to turn it off for some sites that have their legitimate scripts blocked, but that don't show ads (think your classic old-school bank or tax authorities websites).
