   @zachleat I understand that sometimes this is done to make the entire page copyrightable, but am unsure if that actually makes a difference.

   I find it super annoying, though.

      @svgeesus @zachleat they are following SEO to get the page ranked higher by Google. If they just had the recipe it wouldn't score as well.

                     @reconbot @zachleat @khalidabuhakmeh @svgeesus Yeah, the first one that comes to mind is "warming up the car" before driving in cold weather. We don't need to do that anymore but good luck trying to tell folks it's not necessary anymore.

Like of anything. I tap the can before I open it because when I was 13 I was told it worked. Humans love tradition.
