Had someone open two identical issues on GitHub. When I closed *one* of them as a duplicate, they replied “Thanks for nothing, Zach”

(Please don’t find this person and bother them, I am therapeutically complaining here 😅)
@zachleat and I liked how you reacted. 👍
@nhoizey gotta be nice to get nice 😬

@iamdtms this is the route I did ultimately take, yeah.

@zachleat Thanks for everything, Zach 💚
@zachleat rerelease 11ty under the “everyone but you” license.
@ardouglass haha who am I, douglas crockford
@zachleat NO CODE FOR YOU!
@zachleat “thanks for nothing Zach. Thanks to you I embrace the nothing and have experienced the death of my ego and am finally at peace. Thank you, my dear friend.”
@cthos what are we but stardust floating through nothing calmly traveling toward the heat death of the universe
@zachleat After having duplicated it, close the remaining one.
I want to know if you'll receive a “Thanks for twice nothing, Zach!” :bave:
@meduz they are now both closed and locked

@litherum aha, that may have been implied 😅
@zachleat possibly unfamiliarity, ie they expect you to close the other one as well?
@svgeesus For sure, I assumed it was a misunderstanding too. Doesn’t excuse the reaction though.
