It’s #CSSNakedDay!
I love this trend—it highlights the importance of a foundation of good HTML.
We need a similar one for JavaScript! #JSNakedDay should be April 10 😅

…and the toggle on my site’s footer is always there to turn off the current page’s CSS (opt-in 🙃)
@zachleat "modern" JS should celebrate #JSNakedDay on April 13th
@zachleat Or on April 4th. You know on 404 🙃
The inaugural JS Naked Day is now April 24, 2024 thanks to @macdonst and @McNeely!

@villepreux @zachleat @McNeely Sounds amazing to me. Can you send a PR to js-naked-day.org so other people can re-use what you’ve done to make it easier to participate?
@macdonst @villepreux @zachleat I love that idea! Having a script that disables JavaScript is definitely in keeping with the spirit of JS free (even if it's not "technically" JS free).
Sure ! Did the PR.
I also un-minified and commented my naked-days scripts in case that can help someone !
(In the process of un-minifying the whole site. Web should be more open)
Scripts are not perfect, as they are, in my case, just fallbacks in case I missed the date and did not recompile my (static) site 😆
@zachleat Beautiful idea! I totally love this, too! ❤️
