@zachleat any chance of showing tweetback a bit more love? I'm like 1 issue away from replacing all my twitter links everywhere with tweetback links: https://github.com/tweetback/tweetback/issues/96
@egallager I think you need to feed the pathprefix into the pagefind CLI here: https://github.com/tweetback/tweetback/blob/bb062375898f5f6e4f338681cdfe8aa9f90e36da/eleventy.config.js#L37
This is the CLI param: https://pagefind.app/docs/config-options/#output-subdirectory (although tweetback is using pre-1.0 pagefind)—so you’ll need to investigate if that CLI param was renamed in 1.0 😬
@egallager @bglw might be able to answer this!
@zachleat @egallager pulling your built tweetback repo the files are there, and the URLs being requested look correct. I think this is a case of falling victim to GitHub Pages / Jekyll not serving the _pagefind directory, due to the leading underscore.
One option would be to configure your Jekyll to include the _pagefind dir. Alternatively, configure Pagefind's bundle-dir to just "pagefind". Or migrate Pagefind to 1.0 😄
(This is the reason Pagefind 1.0 changed from "_pagefind" to "pagefind")
Jekyll include config: https://jekyllrb.com/docs/configuration/options/
If changing the directory, Pagefind 0.x uses the --bundle-dir flag. If that's hard to set through tweetback, you can also set a `PAGEFIND_BUNDLE_DIR="pagefind"` environment variable and it'll pick that up.
@egallager @bglw I added another comment here based on Liam’s feedback with an easy solution: https://github.com/tweetback/tweetback/issues/96#issuecomment-2012782722
@zachleat @bglw Thanks, I got it working now! Of course, now that I can actually search for stuff, that's revealing new issues, like for example I've now run into this one: https://github.com/tweetback/tweetback/issues/9
