if netlify is done with the term jamstack—can I have it? 😅

@zachleat It appears they are and I'd vote for that.
@zachleat In all seriousness though, it'd be great if they open sourced the jamstack.org code or let the community manage it somehow. It was always pitched as a community effort, so now would be a great time to let it actually be one.
@remotesynth it is open sourced but not community managed: https://github.com/jamstack/jamstack.org
(and I agree!)

@mikesusz funny you say that: https://jamstack.io/
@zachleat Pretty sure Netlify laid off their lawyers, so it should be fine.

@zachleat Will you return it to its roots and make it less confusing?!
-
@zachleat FWIW, the most confusing thing has always been "are React apps JAMStack?" They technically meet the definition (they have JS, APIs, and Markup), but very much don't embody the spirit.
-
@zachleat Just write Jamsnack everywhere and maybe nobody will notice…
@jaredwhite it’s not misdirection it’s a disjamstract
@zachleat They’ve gone underground. A substack, if you will.

@maxfenton I agree to these terms
