   @zachleat 100%. I don't think the opt-in switch should be buried in preferences, either; I'd much prefer a small toggle at the lower left/right of the scrolling area, where you could turn automatic scrolling off at any time.

   (Honestly, for any UX decision like this that could be potentially frustrating, I think the settings should be right there on the element in question; I hate having to hunt for stuff.)

   @zachleat Totally, it should be a progressive enhancement over a normal pagination system and be very simple to deactivate
