Using `0x` to do some flame graph build performance analysis of an Eleventy project, super useful!

You can use it on your Eleventy project too:
0x node_modules/@11ty/eleventy/cmd.js --quiet

It strikes me that it might be useful to have a comprehensive web performance analysis tool with similar flame graph output that reports a holistic view of the performance of a web site (showing how every asset on the site influences the performance, not just JavaScript execution).
Does this exist?

@zander WebPageTest is the GOAT for sure!

@zachleat https://profiler.firefox.com had a flamegraph view but I’ve not checked whether it still works with Chrome traces for a while
@andydavies Strangely I’ve never tried this—but it looks amazing!
@zachleat there are lots of tools. Webpagetest, gtmetrix, you could run your own metrics in a puppeteer or use Browserstack...
@iamschulz hmm… it feels wrong that GTMetrix defaults to a desktop report 😬

@zachleat check out node's built-in --cpu-prof arg. That generates a profile which you can then inspect in speedscope. It has a much nicer UX and has a left heavy view which makes it much easier to spot slow calls
@marvinh super helpful thank you! Sandwich mode seems awesome too.
@marvinh This recommendation proved very fruitful thank you! https://github.com/11ty/webc/releases/tag/v0.9.3
