   @zachleat @chriscoyier Really enjoyed both articles! The Great Divide is often top-of-mind for me. I don't think it "pitted the sides against one another" as much as put words to a phenomenon that was already happening but hard for many to articulate.

   Side note: Any time I'm feeling some type of way about this industry, looking up the latest jQuery stats always make me chuckle and puts things back in perspective 😅

      @nmoo @chriscoyier yeah—absolutely. It didn’t read as divisive to me either. It isn’t divisive to merely acknowledge that things were/are divided—and that acknowledgement was important and helped me understand larger patterns too.

   @zachleat @chriscoyier @hi_mayank the "don't make me pick" attitude is one of the reasons that I really like the Front of the FrontEnd / Back of the FrontEnd split that @brad_frost coined. Both are front-end/web focused but it gives us a useful way of speaking about the specialization that has developed in engineering.
