What sign on experience do you like these days?
I’m a big fan of the handshake my modem does automatically with my ISP. It’s a big improvement over Trumpet Dialer or Windows Networking!
for websites in which I have no account nor want an account, I prefer no sign on 😅
for everything else I want passkeys 🏆
I once visited a website that had no user facing element and still asked. Out of curiosity I used a burner account to sign in. I reached the Admin Panel and was able to change texts on the website. 😬
(I informed the author of the website and he removed the option)
hahah wow!
If you're on Firefox, there's a little script you can run on uBlock Origin that blocks that nonsense.
I have it around here somewhere..
Here ye be. The chosen solution is the solution you should choose:
if any of them reach you in chrome: settings → site settings → additional permissions → third-party sign-in, set it to block. one tap runs through fedcm now, so it stops showing.
