I’m proud of this project 🥰 I worked hard on it and it turned out great!

I’m thankful we didn’t add a bunch of third party JavaScript or overbearing analytics or advertisements — feels good to work with good folks.

Curious: What does the css inlining?
The source of the site is not public, is it?

      1. Zach Leatherman Mastodon 2 hr later

@tcurdt not this repo specifically but that feature is as-is from eleventy-base-blog

Very impressive — as if reducing the 1.5mb page transfer size to 134kb wasn’t enough, there’s also build-time image color extraction, and 11ty ‘import wordpress’. I know Wordpress is an entire ecosystem with a lot of lock-in, but I hope this is the beginning of a transition of power.

Wow, thank you Rob! Super kind words 🙌

@zachleat it finished rendering the top of the page before the iOS animation of switching applications finished 😳

   Now that’s fast!

   1. Zach Leatherman Mastodon 5 hr later

@josh is it fast or are iOS animations slow 😅 (thank you!!)

      1. Josh “Yoshi” Vickerson Mastodon 5 hr later

@zachleat it would be very Apple to start slowing the animations on my 13 Pro at this point 🤔
