Zach may I take this opportunity to share our current favourite board game?
Please!!
After having played Isle of Cats for 2 years straight we searched for something similar but couldn't find anything that came close, until a couple months ago when we stumbled upon World Wonders.
Looks amazing, 2 - 5 players, and it's easy to learn. Recommend!
ooh, it looks incredible!
Whadya pick?
Qwirkle and Carcassonne were my two picks for this crowd!
Niiiiiice
The Carcassonne video game is awesome, and the multi-player works so well! For next time when y'all aren't all under the same roof :)
Oooh it’s on sale 👀
nothing like a rousing game of Agricola, the game of competitive subsistence farming!
In this house, we embrace the scarcity of energy resources and enjoy Power Grid. The Bitcoin variant means everyone loses!
oh no
monopoly!
you be the top hat and i'll be the giant raw turkey
I thought we were friends Cory
that’s why I’m the turkey! 💚
Oooo you play board games? Hell yeah! Any favourites?
Our current obsession is 7 Wonders: Duel and Lost Cities ☺️
just dabbling! We have been playing Cascadia a fair bit recently!
Dabbling is good ☺️ I’ve heard great things about Cascadia! we don’t have that ourself but do have the newer roll+write versions they have (not played yet)
Love some dice chucking 🎲
TIL the term Roll & Write!
Aha sorry! yes there's a whole world of new terminology with board games; I'm still getting to grips with it myself.
Should you fancy exploring games of that variety, I can highly recommend Three Sisters and Voyages (That one you can print yourself at home and it just needs 3 d6 dice) 😊
