   @zachleat @eleventy Just started with this tonight for my blog as I wanted to use some ESM only packages in some `11ty.js` files. Now I have a pattern to follow!

      @zachleat @eleventy Although I was trying to go full `"type": "module"` at the same time, probably need to take some smaller steps. Your PR seems a little easier than what I was running into which is likely my own fault.

         @jpoehnelt @zachleat yeah you can go full type: module if you want but you will have to change all your .js to .cjs and then migrate to ESM syntax (and rename back to .js) as fast or slow as you’d like

   While zachleat.com was a CJS to CJS migration, I’m currently updating 11ty.dev to be Eleventy v3 using ESM.

   That work is in progress here:

               @pauleveritt I should also note that none of that work is required. I could have just used CJS with Eleventy 3 (or even incremental conversion using .cjs)
